There is a special blend of nutrients, in the drink, which provide 50% of the RDA of vitamins and minerals and have been together in a slow release way so that they are absorbed just like nutrients are from food. It contains no lactose, which some people can find upsets their stomach and it also contains low fat and sodium. The serving has 1250mg of HMB and 1500mg Kr-Evolution.

Fructose has been added to replace glycogen in the liver that is used up when exercising and maltodextrin and fructose are used to encourage an insulin release in the body which will help it to absorb all the nutrients.
